[Remote] Director of Sales Development and Strategic Growth

They are seeking a Director of Sales Development and Strategic Growth who will oversee the entire sales lifecycle, including prospecting, relationship building, and closing high-value opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify long-term growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and optimizing the initial stages of the sales pipeline
- Lead in-depth discovery meetings (hybrid: virtually or in-person) to uncover client gaps, barriers, business risks, and operational goals
- Design, create and present compelling, value-driven proposals and partnership agreements that clearly communicate value
- Monitor shifts in the market, consumer behavior, and competitive shifts to find untapped niches
- Build long-term trust with decision-makers, setting the stage for short-, mid- and long-term growth opportunities
- Guide the customer through our value proposition, overcoming objections while protecting company profitability creating a 'Win-Win' for all parties
- In tandem with the sales team, diligently track interactions, follow-ups, and deal stages using the corporate CRM platform to ensure accurate sales forecasting
- Follow all company policies/practices

Skills
- Bachelor's degree (B.S. /B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university
- Minimum of three years related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; a natural storyteller who builds consensus quickly

- Ability to target and select appropriate accounts for account management and pipeline management
- Ability to develop relationships at the C level quickly

- Ability to mentor others
- Associate must be able to travel 75 % of the time
