[Remote] Director of Commerce Growth

The Director of Commerce Growth will be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth across the company's digital commerce ecosystem, developing strategies for customer acquisition and retention, and optimizing performance across various commerce channels.
Responsibilities
- Own profitable growth across DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop and emerging commerce platforms
- Develop and execute strategies that maximize customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value
- Identify new growth opportunities as consumer shopping behavior continues to evolve
- Manage agency and contractor relationships supporting growth initiatives
- Own paid acquisition strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok and emerging channels
- Partner with Creative to continuously test audiences, creative, landing pages and offers
- Improve marketing efficiency while balancing CAC, MER, payback period and profitability
- Evaluate and scale new customer acquisition opportunities
- Lead growth across TikTok Shop, creator commerce and affiliate partnerships
- Stay ahead of AI-powered shopping, social discovery and emerging commerce platforms
- Develop scalable experimentation frameworks for new acquisition channels
- Own subscription growth, lifecycle marketing and customer retention
- Improve onboarding, replenishment, loyalty and winback strategies
- Increase customer lifetime value through data-driven personalization and automation
- Optimize conversion across Shopify, Amazon and emerging commerce experiences
- Own growth reporting, forecasting and performance dashboards
- Translate data into actionable insights that improve revenue and profitability
Skills
- 5+ years of experience leading growth, digital commerce or performance marketing for a high-growth consumer brand
- Experience helping scale a consumer business from approximately $10M to $50M+ in revenue
- Deep expertise in Meta advertising and performance marketing
- Strong understanding of Google, TikTok and emerging acquisition channels
- Experience across Shopify, Amazon and social commerce ecosystems
- Experience operating within a subscription-based business model
- Experience owning lifecycle marketing, Email, SMS and retention programs using platforms such as Klaviyo, Attentive and Skio
- Strong understanding of Shopify optimization tools including Rebuy, Replo and similar technologies
- Experience managing $5M+ annually in paid media spend
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with attribution platforms such as Triple Whale, Northbeam or similar tools
- Proven ability to balance aggressive growth with long-term profitability
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership, communication and project management skills
