[Remote] Data Governance Engineer – Immuta & BigIDt
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a talented Data Governance Engineer with expertise in Immuta and BigIDt for a contract opportunity. The role involves implementing and managing data governance policies, collaborating with business and technical teams, and optimizing governance policies across enterprise data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage data governance and access control policies using Immuta
- Configure data masking, row-level security, and entitlement management
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and data engineering teams to ensure data protection standards
- Support BigID and Immuta integration for automated data classification and governance workflows
- Monitor, audit, and optimize governance policies across enterprise data platforms
Skills

- Hands-on experience with Immuta for data access governance, policy enforcement, data masking, and attribute-based access control (ABAC)
- Strong understanding of data governance, data privacy, and regulatory compliance frameworks

- Proficiency in SQL and metadata management
- Experience integrating BigID with Immuta for data discovery, classification, sensitive data identification, and automated policy enforcement
- Knowledge of data cataloging, data lineage, and privacy compliance initiatives
