[Remote] Data Analyst (Statewide)

They are seeking a Data Analyst I to perform entry-level data analysis and research work under close supervision, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance in TWC operations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data using standard statistical tools, methods and techniques
- Consults with internal and external customers to identify data analytics needs
- Interpret results to identify significant differences in data
- Assist in identifying and interpreting data patterns and trends and assessing data quality
- Assist with the implementation of databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Assist in preparing technical reports to present and interpret data, identify alternatives and make and justify recommendations on data revisions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Graduation from an accredited high school or successful completion of GED certification
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position
- Acceptance into a TWC Internship or TWC Apprenticeship will satisfy the minimum qualifications
- Knowledge of statistics and ability to compile and analyze data sets
- Working knowledge of UI program
- Knowledge of childcare programs
- Skill in developing meaningful metrics and dashboards to measure targets
- Ability to present and report on data findings
