[Remote] Data Analyst - must have Dynamics 365 FO

Conspicuous is a high-growth organisation seeking a Dynamics 365 Data Analyst who can transform complex ERP data into actionable insights. This role involves working closely with finance, operations, and supply chain teams to design and deliver reporting solutions that influence business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret data from Dynamics 365 (F&O and/or Business Central) to support operational and strategic reporting requirements
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for stakeholders across the business
• Develop and manage ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from D365 and connected systems
• Work with Microsoft Fabric to centralise and govern data assets across the organisation
• Collaborate with functional consultants, finance teams, and IT to ensure data models reflect real-world business processes
• Translate complex datasets into clear visualisations and narratives that non-technical audiences can act upon
• Identify data quality issues and work with the wider team to resolve them at source
• Support continuous improvement of the organisation's data strategy and reporting infrastructure

Skills

• Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 — either Finance & Operations or Business Central
• Strong functional understanding of at least one D365 workstream (finance, supply chain, operations, or manufacturing)
• Demonstrable technical skills in data analysis, data modelling, and SQL
• Experience building reports and dashboards that are genuinely used and valued by the business
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical data work and business stakeholder needs
• Strong communication skills — comfortable presenting insight to finance directors, operations managers, and C-suite
• Power BI — including DAX, data modelling, and report design best practice
• Microsoft Fabric — experience with lakehouses, pipelines, or the Fabric data platform
• ETL tooling — Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or similar pipeline technologies
• Experience with D365 data entities, OData feeds, or BYOD/Azure Synapse Link
• Familiarity with Azure (Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, or related services)
