[Remote] Customer Service Specialist

NewCo Capital Group is a leading financial services provider dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and innovative financial solutions. They are seeking a dedicated Customer Service and Collections Specialist to manage customer accounts, address inquiries, and handle collections activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer communications through various channels, including inbound calls and emails
- Handle account management tasks such as balance statement requests, payoff letters, payment plan setups, and UCC terminations
- Coordinate and follow up on bounced payments, ensuring timely resolution through emails and phone calls
- Work closely with underwriting to set up payment plans and modify existing agreements as needed
- Process legal actions for default accounts, including transferring cases to attorneys, signing off on summons and complaints, and notarizing affidavits
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proficiency in using customer service and collections software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A degree in finance or a related field are strongly preferred together with minimum 5 years experience in collections or a similar role
