[Remote] Contracts Administrator

They are seeking a Contracts Administrator whose primary responsibilities include preparing, negotiating, and administering government and commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and providing guidance to internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the negotiation, administration, and management of government and commercial contracts and subcontracts
- Ensure we’re always in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, especially FAR and DFARS
- Review and update existing contracts
- Prepare contracts and negotiate contract terms, NDAs, TAs, and other agreements
- Provide guidance and support to program managers and other internal teams on all things contractual
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to keep potential issues at bay
- Review and interpret contract terms and conditions, making sure they align with our goals
- Handle contract modifications, amendments, and extensions as needed
- Keep our contract files and documentation organized and up-to-date
- Be the main point of contact for government contracting officers and representatives
- Lead contract closeout activities, ensuring everything is wrapped up neatly
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Law, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in government contract management
- Experience working with business development and proposal teams to review and analyze proposal requirements, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other regulatory standards
- Deep understanding of FAR, DFARS, and other federal regulations
- Strong negotiation and contract administration skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Top-notch written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Keen attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- A Master's degree is a plus
- Professional certifications like CFCM or CPCM are a big plus
