[Remote] Content Strategist & Writer

Kopius is a technology consulting company seeking a Content Strategist and Writer to support their storytelling across various channels. The role involves planning, writing, and refining content to build brand awareness and support sales goals while managing media and PR opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the content and editorial calendar across blog, email, website and other owned channels
- Write and edit clear, on-brand copy for a range of formats: blog posts, newsletters, and marketing assets
- Source and secure media and PR opportunities—including press placements, features, and interviews—and help manage those relationships
- Help build content for our podcast series, from topic and guest planning to scripts, show notes, and supporting copy
- Track performance against KPIs, pull insights from analytics, and adjust content based on what’s working
- Apply SEO best practices to published content
- Collaborate with design, sales, and leadership to keep content aligned with broader business objectives
Skills
- 3+ years in content marketing, communications, or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published work
- Intermediate/Advanced English skills with strong communication abilities
- Self-motivated, quick learner, and adaptable to new technologies and legacy systems
- Thrives in a team environment, actively contributes to collaboration, fostering a sense of community
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution
- 3+ years in content marketing
- Experience creating content for B2B audiences
- PR/media relations experience—pitching, securing coverage, and coordinating interviews
- Comfort with content analytics and reporting (KPIs, engagement, reach)
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals
