[Remote] Computer Aided Dispatch Administrator - Public Safety

The Computer Aided Dispatch Administrator is responsible for executing large, complex IT projects in the Public Safety sector, focusing on installing, configuring, and troubleshooting CAD and RMS applications. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and end-users.
Responsibilities
- Works as part of a team that implements public safety software solutions, including:
- Installation of software
- Configuration workshops and implementation
- Functional Requirements Definition
- Testing
- Training
- Troubleshooting
- Ensure quality standards and proper compliance with client rules and regulations
- Building and maintain quality relationships with client and end-user resources
Skills
- Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience working within or consulting Public Safety Organizations
- Proven working experience implementing, configuring, or managing CAD, Mobile, or RMS systems
- Travel as required, estimated at 25% - 50% - this ebbs and flows with each project
- Intermediate/Advanced Experience with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint)
- Subject Matter Expert in CAD, RMS, Mobile, and other public safety systems
- Intermediate IT knowledge including database management, networking, and virtualization
- Knowledge and understanding of how software projects are delivered
- Ability to connect and maintain strong relationships with the project team and client
- Must be able to gain CJIS certification or pass background checks per client requirements
- Experience with or knowledge of Geographic Information Systems
- Basic understanding of cloud technology
- Knowledge of Hexagon's OnCall or I/CAD products a plus
