[Remote] Collections Analyst
Note The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HireTalent is a staffing and recruiting firm seeking a Senior Collections Analyst to join their Finance & Accounting team. The role involves managing relationships with agencies and advertisers, resolving billing disputes, and driving process improvements in collections to meet departmental goals.
Responsibilities
Establish relationships with key agencies and advertisers, following-up frequently by phone and/or email on past due balances with a direct focus on lowering DSO and minimizing bad-debt Investigate, document and resolve customer billing disputes in a timely manner Identify process improvements and efficiencies by collaborating with the Sales to create and/or improve systems and processes Drive collections process improvements to maximize potential for our teams Generate and prepare weekly aging reports with collection comments for management review Focus on meeting departmental monthly cash collection goals and targets Assist with adhoc AR projects as needed Skills 5 + years of heavy collections experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in the advertising, digital and/or media industries and at least one year in a publicly traded company Experience with major Advertising holding companies WPP, Publicis, Omnicom, or IPG is a plus Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize day-to-day responsibilities, while ensuring timelines and deadlines are continuously met Knowledge and experience of the following systems NetSuite, Salesforce, Google Drive, Microsoft Office to include Excel Company Overview HireTalent is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) workforce solutions firm, specializing in securing the best talent fits in Executive/Retained Search, Direct Hire Placements, MSP, SOW, and nationwide hiring program management and support.
