[Remote] Client Account Executive - Mining & Metals

They are seeking a Client Account Executive to develop long-term business relationships in the Mining & Metals sector, manage client engagement, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance client satisfaction and drive profitability.
Responsibilities
- Lead client engagement activities from identification and opportunity creation to multi-solution business capture
- Keep the Client Relationship Management tool updated and aligned with governance to ensure accurate tracking and management of client relationships
- Develop Account Strategy and Value Propositions with Account team members for addressing client issues and building long-term, profitable business opportunities
- Generate and qualify sales and marketing leads
- Collaborate with Enterprise Marketing and Strategy to proactively improve BV reputation and relevance as an innovative thought leader (thought leadership, industry experience, etc.)
- Accountable for overall client satisfaction and conducting client satisfaction surveys
- Full understanding of the deal; including margins, risks, terms & conditions, etc
- Deep understanding of the industry and the needs of our clients, with strategic planning of new business growth
- Alongside the Client Segment Director, develop and execute on long-term plans that drive growth & profitability
- Regular interaction with the Black & Veatch Leadership Team on complex and multi-dimensional Sales matters. Influences the decisions made by the Leadership Team related to Sales direction
- Industry expertise within the EPC arena
- Supervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates
Skills
- Typically 15-20 years of experience within the EPC industry, including 10 years in sales or project execution. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required
- Experience developing, maintaining and executing strategic sales plans
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly, and to convert technical or complex information and concepts into easily understandable content
- Firm understanding of competition and differentiators
- B2B sales experience
- Experience managing a sales team
- Mining and Metals experience in the industry
- Bachelors degree preferred, with technical or business focus. Relevant experience in lieu of degree may be accepted
- Experience using Salesforce is preferred
