[Remote] Business & Finance Technician Online/Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Peak Prep is seeking a passionate and dedicated Business & Finance Technician to join its online charter school, Peak Prep Pleasant Valley. Under the direction of the Fiscal Operations Manager and the Director of Finance, the role involves performing office and basic accounting/finance duties, including support with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and maintaining financial records.
Responsibilities
- Perform office and basic accounting/finance duties including support with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and related accounts
- Maintain a variety of financial records, statements, and reports
- Purchasing procedures
- Prepares purchase orders
- Contacts vendors for quotes
- Maintains purchase records
- Perform diversified accounting/finance and purchasing work with independent responsibility for the Business & Operations team
- Cross-trained and assigned duties to ensure proper and appropriate separation of duties as recommended by internal and external audit procedures
- Work with Accounts Payable, Vendor Relations, and Finance team
