[Remote] Business Development Manager, Wholesale Jewelry (West Coast & South Central)

CAZA Collective is recruiting for a globally established fine jewelry manufacturer seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand wholesale sales within strategic U.S. territories. The role involves managing existing accounts and developing new retail partnerships while representing the company at trade shows and industry events.
Responsibilities
- Grow wholesale sales throughout your assigned territory by developing new business while strengthening existing retail partnerships
- Manage and expand relationships with independent jewelry retailers and small to mid-size retail chains
- Identify, prospect, and secure new accounts through strategic business development efforts
- Conduct in-person and virtual sales presentations, product introductions, and account reviews
- Travel extensively throughout your territory to visit customers, develop new business opportunities, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events
- Represent the company at major jewelry trade shows and regional market events
- Partner with internal teams on product selection, pricing, inventory availability, merchandising, and order fulfillment
- Utilize CRM tools to manage customer activity, sales pipeline, forecasting, and follow-up
- Deliver exceptional customer service while serving as a long-term business partner to your accounts
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of successful wholesale fine jewelry sales experience
- Proven experience selling to independent jewelry retailers and small to mid-size retail chains
- An established book of business and existing relationships within the U.S. jewelry industry
- Proven track record of generating $1 million+ in annual wholesale jewelry sales while managing and growing a portfolio of retail accounts
- Demonstrated success developing new wholesale accounts while growing existing business
- Experience traveling extensively throughout an assigned sales territory
- Regular participation in major jewelry trade shows and industry events
- Strong knowledge of diamonds, bridal jewelry, colored gemstones, and fine jewelry collections
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Professional, polished, and confident representing a respected luxury jewelry manufacturer
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
