[Remote] Business Development Manager – Freight AI Solutions

They are seeking a Business Development Manager for Freight AI Solutions to drive growth in AI-driven freight and logistics solutions by identifying new business opportunities and managing client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Driving growth of AI-driven freight and logistics solutions
- Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within freight, transportation, and logistics, including carriers, shippers, and 3PLs
- Prospecting and lead generation
- Conducting discovery calls
- Understanding customer pain points
- Presenting tailored AI solution proposals aligned with client operations and goals
- Managing and nurturing accounts
- Coordinating with product and technical teams to refine offerings
- Contributing to business planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Negotiating commercial terms
- Supporting contract closures
- Maintaining a strong pipeline to meet sales targets
Skills
- Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with the ability to identify, pursue, and qualify freight and logistics prospects
- Strong Account Management capabilities, including relationship building, stakeholder management, and retention of key customers
- Experience in Business Planning, pipeline management, and sales forecasting to support data-driven decision-making and growth strategies
- Proven Sales skills, including consultative selling, proposal development, negotiation, and closing contracts
- Background in freight, logistics, transportation, or supply chain, with familiarity using technology or AI solutions in these domains
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, comfortable engaging executive and operational stakeholders in a remote environment
- Ability to work independently in a contract capacity, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience with CRM tools and basic understanding of AI or data-driven solutions is highly beneficial
