[Remote] Business Development Manager

Responsibilities
- Engage with AI-generated and outbound leads through email, phone, and digital channels
- Develop creative outreach strategies to initiate conversations with prospective clients
- Build initial relationships with key stakeholders across target industries
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs, business challenges, and AI readiness
- Qualify opportunities based on defined criteria (budget, timeline, fit, and decision-making process)
- Document and manage lead progression through CRM tools
- Successfully transition qualified opportunities to the sales team for closing
- Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure a smooth handoff and alignment on deal strategy
- Maintain strong communication to support conversion and pipeline visibility
- Develop a foundational understanding of AI adoption trends and use cases across industries
- Stay informed on competitive offerings and positioning
- Provide feedback to leadership on market insights and lead quality
Skills
- Entry-level to mid-level experience in business development, sales development, or outbound prospecting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable in a performance-driven environment
- Ability to work independently and manage activity levels effectively
- Strong interest in AI, technology, and emerging solutions
- Experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or technology-driven environments
