[Remote] Business Development Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Green Life Science is a fast-growing technology company providing innovative software solutions to the life sciences industry. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business, grow strategic client relationships, and contribute to the continued expansion of their commercial team.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities by identifying and winning new clients across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and contract research sectors
- Manage and develop existing customer accounts, driving renewals and identifying opportunities to expand software adoption and increase revenue
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation, contract close, and successful customer handover
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding business challenges and positioning tailored software solutions
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Solutions teams to maximise customer value and support commercial objectives
- Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline management, and forecasting using CRM tools, ensuring reliable reporting and visibility
Skills
- Proven experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally selling into the life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research sectors
- Strong understanding of the drug development, clinical research, or healthcare technology landscape
- Demonstrated success managing complex consultative sales processes, including prospecting, stakeholder engagement, and commercial negotiations
- Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue objectives
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
- Experience selling enterprise software to pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO organisations
- Knowledge of clinical trials, research technologies, or digital health solutions
- Familiarity with solution-based or value-based sales methodologies
