Responsibilities
- Evaluating candidate cache responses against incoming requests
- Analyzing runtime signals, similarity scores, TTL configurations, and state indicators
- Assessing cache reuse safety and identifying potential side-effect risks
- Applying engineering judgement to real-world backend scenarios
- Classifying outcomes based on system behaviour and operational risk
- Providing confidence ratings and structured technical reasoning
- Helping improve how advanced AI systems reason about backend architecture and caching decisions
Skills
- Professional experience as a Backend Engineer, Systems Engineer, SRE, Data Engineer, or Backend Architect
- Hands-on experience with Redis and caching technologies
- Strong understanding of TTLs, cache invalidation, data consistency, and state management
- Experience working with production APIs and distributed systems
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to evaluate technical scenarios and explain engineering decisions clearly
