[Remote] AWS Cloud Network Operations Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Randstad Digital Americas is seeking a talented AWS Cloud Network Operations Engineer to join their Technology Services team. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, exceptional performance, and secure connectivity across cloud and hybrid architectures, providing L2/L3 operational support and driving infrastructure optimization.
Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for critical AWS networking components including VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT Gateways, DNS, VPN, and Internet Gateways
- Configure and maintain robust network access controls using Security Groups and NACLs
- Monitor, isolate, and resolve network performance issues such as latency, packet loss, and connectivity errors
- Automate network provisioning and configurations utilizing infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Skills
- 6 to 10 years of experience dedicated to AWS Networking components, including Route 53, WAF, endpoints, and hybrid connectivity (Site-to-Site VPN, Direct Connect)
- 5 to 8 years of foundational experience in Java AWS cloud networking and operations
- Demonstrated mastery in monitoring and logging toolsets, such as CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and CloudTrail
