[Remote] Associate Director of Operations

Meet Life Sciences is partnering with a leading global manufacturing organization to find a hands-on operations leader for their manufacturing site in Charles City, Iowa. The Associate Director of Operations will oversee manufacturing execution, planning, and compliance to drive efficient operations and lead teams in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Daily leadership of manufacturing execution across shifts and units
- Site planning and scheduling; balancing demand, capacity, and labor
- Operational KPIs: productivity, throughput, utilization, and cost control
- Compliance with cGMP, FDA, OSHA, EPA, and DEA standards
- Continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Coaching and developing frontline and mid-level operational leaders
Skills
- 10+ years in manufacturing, operations, or regulated production environments
- Experience leading supervisors or managers in a pharma, chemical, food and beverage manufacturing, or other highly regulated setting
- Strong planning, scheduling, and cross-functional influence skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, Operations Management, or related field
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
