[Remote] Analyst, Customer Programs & System Remediation Plan (SRP)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LUMA Energy is focused on developing regulatory strategies for customer-facing initiatives and system remediation commitments. The Analyst role involves translating complex data into actionable insights, monitoring regulatory changes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Drafts regulatory filings, communications, deposition papers, and requests for information by conducting initial analysis and aligning with prior submissions, ensuring consistency and legal compliance
- Manages internal reporting by gathering departmental input, maintaining a reporting schedule, and communicating deadlines to ensure timely and accurate regulatory submissions
- Analyzes legal and regulatory developments to assess potential business impacts and provide guidance on emerging risks and compliance strategies
- Monitors and analyzes key performance metrics to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and support data-driven decision-making
- Provides analytical insights to support cross-functional collaboration, strategic initiatives, operational planning, and reporting
- Communicates regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and maintain accountability for timely completion and deliverables
- Follow established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations
- Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services
- Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility

- Strong skills in planning, managing, and prioritizing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to synthesize and clearly convey complex information
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams and work groups across the organization and external stakeholders
- Strong skills in the use of computer applications (MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and programs such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization software, and SharePoint
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and presentation skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple analytical tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to exercise discretion with external and internal communications
- Valid Driver's License
- Bachelor's Degree preferable in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Political Science, Public Administration, or related field, from an accredited university
- 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and synthesizing complex economic, regulatory, and financial information, preferably within an electric utility or a related industry
- Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role: Associate's degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing a previous Analyst role
