[Remote] AI/ML Research Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking an AI/ML Research Engineer with full-stack experience. The role involves developing agentic AI applications and requires strong proficiency in Python and natural language processing.
Skills
- 4-year degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with Agentic frameworks and building agentic AI applications
- Strong proficiency in Python and prompt engineering for LLMs
- Ability to differentiate between data models (e.g., Meta vs. OpenAI) based on project requirements
- Hands on experience with Natural Language Processing and deploying scalable AI models
- Deep knowledge technologies (SAP HANA, DB2, SQL Server) and solid SQL expertise
- Experience building agentic AI or AI assistant style products
- Prior work with Lockheed Martin data platforms (EDE, LDW, EDW) or comparable enterprise scale environments
- Relevant cloud AI or machine learning certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer, AWS ML)

- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment
