[Remote] Accounts Receivable Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kforce Inc is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join their team. The role involves preparing and distributing customer invoices, processing credit memos, maintaining customer records, and assisting with accounts receivable reporting for management review.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute customer invoices via various channels (e.g., email, mail)
• Process credit memos and billing adjustments as needed
• Maintain and update customer records, including contact and billing information
• Monitor and track special billing instructions or exceptions
• Balance and reconcile daily transaction records
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding billing or account discrepancies
• Assist with reporting related to accounts receivable and cash flow for management review

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or related administrative/accounting roles
• Proven ability to manage high-volume invoicing (e.g., 400-500 invoices/month)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, spreadsheets), Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
