[Remote] Accounts Payable Accountant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 3 Bridge Networks is seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Associate to assist with daily financial operations and vendor payment activities. This role involves handling invoice administration, payment coordination, expense tracking, and vendor communication.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process invoices for payment
- Confirm invoices contain appropriate approvals and supporting backup
- Assign general ledger coding and enter financial information into the accounting system
- Coordinate check requests and electronic payments within established timelines
- Identify and resolve discrepancies related to billing, purchase orders, or payment records
- Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable files and documentation
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding issues when necessary
- Communicate with vendors and employees regarding payment questions and reimbursement matters
- Assist with maintaining accurate supplier records and account information
- Review and process employee expense submissions in accordance with company policy
Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting accounts payable functions
- Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines consistently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented approach
- High level of accuracy and strong problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment
- Prior experience within a legal or professional services environment is a plus
- Experience using Aderant Expert or related accounting platforms preferred
