[Remote] Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Interactive Resources - iR is seeking a customer-focused Account Manager to join their Consumer Driven Health Plans team. The role serves as the primary point of contact for employer groups and insurance brokers, ensuring exceptional client support throughout the account lifecycle while managing multiple priorities and building relationships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned employer clients and insurance brokers
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone and email, providing exceptional customer service
- Manage the complete annual renewal process, ensuring all documentation, enrollment data, benefit schedules, and system updates are completed accurately and on time
- Conduct online training sessions for employer portal users and provide ongoing support as needed
- Prepare monthly, annual, and year-end client reports, including reconciliation reporting
- Maintain accurate client information within internal systems
- Proactively engage clients through quarterly check-ins, promote new technologies, and identify cross-selling opportunities
- Monitor account funding levels and communicate with clients when additional funding is required
- Coordinate client terminations and ensure a smooth offboarding process
- Support the sales team with account-related activities
- Attend health fairs and enrollment meetings as needed
Skills

- 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Client Services, Benefits Administration, or a similar client-facing role
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience supporting employee benefits, healthcare administration, insurance, or HR-related services is a plus but not required
- Ability to problem-solve with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
