[Remote] Account Executive – Freight & Logistics (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Straightline is a technology-enabled freight brokerage helping shippers move freight throughout the United States and Canada. They are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to identify, engage, and win new shipper relationships while managing the sales process from prospecting through close.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential shipper customers through outbound sales efforts, referrals, and strategic outreach
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools and structured sales processes
- Conduct in-person (f2f) meetings, virtual meetings, product demonstrations, and transportation solution presentations
- Understand customer transportation needs and develop customized freight solutions
- Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing and service agreements, and close new business opportunities
- Collaborate with operations, customer success, and leadership teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and retention
- Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasting, and pipeline reporting
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to help shape product and service improvements
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales objectives
Skills
- Proven success in B2B sales, business development, account management, or transportation sales
- Experience prospecting, qualifying opportunities, managing pipelines, and closing business
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining highly accountable
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales analytics tools
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to solve problems and contribute beyond a traditional sales role
- Logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight brokerage, or freight technology experience is highly preferred
