R2 Global is seeking an experienced Head of eCommerce Sales to lead their commercial strategy across a growing omnichannel retail business. This leadership role focuses on driving commercial growth and retail sales strategy while managing key partnerships and aligning teams for sustainable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall eCommerce sales strategy across Amazon, Walmart, and other key retail partners
- Lead and mentor a team of senior functional leaders, including Heads of Amazon, Marketplaces, and Content
- Own commercial performance, revenue growth, and sales forecasting across all digital retail channels
- Build strategic relationships with key retail partners and identify new growth opportunities
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Content teams
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to inform business strategy
- Deliver executive-level reporting, business reviews, and commercial recommendations
- Establish KPIs and ensure teams remain aligned against company objectives
- Champion a data-driven approach to decision-making and commercial planning
Skills
- Significant leadership experience within eCommerce, retail sales, or digital commerce
- Proven success managing high-performing commercial or sales teams
- Deep knowledge of Amazon, Walmart, and the broader retail eCommerce landscape
- Strong understanding of omnichannel sales strategy and retail account management
- Experience owning commercial growth, revenue targets, and strategic business planning
