• *NOTE: You must reside in the greater Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Louis area for this position** We are seeking a Midwest Regional Manager to cover our largest and busiest territory and work in multiple fast-growing industries. Previous experience with our instruments is not necessary, but prior lab experience is helpful. Texture Technologies will provide extensive training on texture measurement, physical testing and applications support. This position is full time remote - work from your home office with travel to customer sites and industry events. Using a home office as a base, this position requires occasional travel to visit customers, attend trade shows, and join in our annual off-site meeting. Our ideal candidate is upbeat, fun, innovative, and a team player. We are seeking someone who is curious, efficient, adaptable, and who can multitask and execute effectively in a fast-moving environment. They enjoy connecting with people in person, by phone, and on remote platforms. They listen carefully to customers' unique challenges so they can recommend the right solutions. Some sales ability is important because of the volume of opportunity in the territory. Success in this role will come from developing strong customer relationships, learning to be an expert with our texture analyzer system, and communicating clearly and confidently. While food companies are our largest customer base, the Regional Manager will also work in other industries such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, electronics, adhesives, gels, pet food, and packaging. Clients will present an endless array of different testing opportunities, so the Regional Manager must enjoy developing test methods and creative solutions to help them use the Texture Analyzer successfully. Position Responsibilities:

  • Representing TTC at national and Midwest territory trade shows and events
  • Following up with new leads to pursue sales opportunities
  • Contacting existing clients to initiate new opportunities
  • Demonstrating our instruments and software
  • Training customers on the use and possibilities of the TA.XTPlus family of instruments and software
  • Testing a wide variety of products for clients
  • Conducting installations and training services at client locations

Texture Technologies will provide extensive training with regard to texture measurement, physical testing and applications support. TTC offers a competitive salary, all expenses, attractive commissions, and a profit sharing plan. Candidate Skills & Background:

  • Five years professional sales experience
  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • A valid current driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel from a home office central to the territory with a 65 lb. instrument case plus other fixtures
  • Self-motivated with excellent written and oral communication
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving with strong multi-tasking skills
  • Computer skills and competency with a variety of common desktop computer programs
  • The ability to learn our Exponent software program which controls our texture analyzer
  • A willness and aptitude to master physical testing and analysis
