- Develop test cases from business requirements, and test scripts for UAT;
- Perform User Acceptance Testing in accordance with approved test plans and research unexpected results;
- Create test data required to perform UAT;
- Execute UAT Scripts & batch jobs;
- Perform Application Interface/Integration testing;
- Perform functionality, usability, design and basic security testing on citizen portal;
- Perform 508 compliance testing (State utilizes JAWS);
- Create, update and Execute UAT SQL queries (reporting UAT);
- Update Requirements Traceability Matrix (State utilizes JAMA);
- Create, update and execute automated test scripts. Maintain UAT Regression script libraries;
- Document all test results in the appropriate format (State utilizes JAMA);
- Log all defects discovered during UAT (State Utilizes JIRA);
- Participate in deployments to perform User Acceptance Testing (May require after hours work);
- Participate in all scheduled and ad hoc meetings as required.
Required Technical Skills
- 1 to 2 years of experience in QA, UAT, or software testing roles.
- Experience in Rapise or AI Automation Testing Tools(Atleast 2 years)
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and UAT processes.
- Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA (defect tracking) and JAMA (requirements & test management).
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY).
- Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
- Experience with 508 compliance testing and JAWS.
- Understanding of integration/interface testing concepts.
- Familiarity with batch job execution and validation.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
- Basic understanding of security testing concepts.
- Knowledge of regression automation frameworks.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent practical experience.
