Program Analyst/Business Analyst
Requisition ID 2026-4470 Job Summary Artemis is seeking a Program Analyst/Business Analyst to translate operational and business needs into requirements and coordinate release planning across Government workstreams. This role drives continuous product improvement through requirements gathering, Agile/Jira-based workflows, and structured post-implementation reviews. The Program Analyst/Business Analyst is a self-starter, proactive problem-solver, and action-oriented team player with experience supporting complex federal programs. This position requires an individual committed to superior client service, poised under pressure, with a positive and flexible attitude. This is a contingent hire position. Offers will be contingent upon client approval, ability to meet security requirements, and the ability to adhere to any on-site requirements (which may change at contract award). Remote work is anticipated. However, occasional travel for client engagements may be required. Primary Responsibilities Support release schedule development and coordinate with respective Government teams. Gather customer feedback and translate operational and business needs into clear product requirements. Facilitate integrated planning teams and working groups across workstreams—establishing meeting cadence, identifying action items, and tracking progress (including Steering Committee support). Facilitate and coordinate release planning activities such as outlining tasks, identifying gaps, and tracking solutions needed for a viable release. Conduct Post-Implementation Reviews within two weeks of a production release and document effectiveness, outcomes, and lessons learned. Maintain a program documentation library and track progress against Operational Objectives. Support business process improvement based on stakeholder needs, missions, and operational constraints. Collaborate with internal program leadership on product requirements and problem-solving that impacts stakeholder needs. Contribute to Program Strategy, Release Plan, and Post-Implementation Review Report deliverables. Use Agile/Jira and Confluence workflows to manage requirements, backlog, and release documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years supporting federal program/product management. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience with release planning, requirements gathering, and Agile/Jira-based workflows. Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government. Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS suitability/public trust determination. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Desired Qualifications Strong critical thinking, analytical and time management skills. Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others. Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally. Ability to stay calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
