Procurement Specialist Consultant – Indirect & 3PL Services Join a global organization operating a large-scale network of warehouses, transportation assets, and distribution channels supporting high-volume consumer goods movement. We are seeking a Procurement Specialist who can drive sourcing strategy across indirect spend while taking ownership of logistics and 3PL-related categories. This role is ideal for someone who understands the commercial dynamics of transportation and warehousing services and is ready to influence supplier strategy in a fast-moving, operationally complex environment. What You’ll Own
- Lead sourcing and negotiations for 3PL providers, transportation, warehousing, and related services
- Drive competitive RFx events and deliver measurable cost savings across indirect spend categories
- Build and execute category strategies that directly impact supply chain efficiency and cost structure
- Develop rate models, cost breakdowns, and commercial scenarios for logistics services
- Partner closely with operations and supply chain leaders to align sourcing decisions with real-world execution
- Challenge supplier pricing, uncover inefficiencies, and create value beyond cost reduction
- Manage supplier performance using KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Influence stakeholders across finance, operations, and engineering in a matrixed environment
- Ensure contract integrity, compliance, and risk mitigation across a diverse supplier base
What You Bring
- Proven success sourcing logistics, transportation, warehousing, or 3PL services
- Strong indirect procurement experience with ownership of RFx events and supplier negotiations
- Deep understanding of logistics cost drivers, rate structures, and service models
- Ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-paced, high-impact environment
- Experience supporting commercial bids, pricing strategies, or cost modeling
- Strong stakeholder presence with the ability to influence decisions and push back when needed
