Podcast Editor (End-to-End Production)This role is for a true podcast builder, not just an editor. If you've taken a podcast from raw recordings to a fully launched, distributed show and care deeply about how every episode sounds, flows, and performs, this is for you. We are launching a podcast built for moms focused on real conversations, practical insights, and meaningful connection.Key ResponsibilitiesEditing: Clean and edit full-length audio episodes, remove filler words and pauses, edit video versions for YouTube and social media, add music and branding elements, create short-form clips and audiogramsProduction & Planning: Build and manage content calendar, support episode ideation using AI tools, prepare structured interview guidesGuest Coordination: Handle outreach, scheduling, communication, and prepare guests before recordingRecording Management: Run recording sessions using Riverside.fm, ensure quality, resolve issues livePublishing & Distribution: Launch and manage podcast across Apple Podcasts and Spotify, handle RSS setup and metadata, track performance metricsContent Support: Write show notes and descriptions, generate social captions using AI toolsRequired QualificationsProven experience launching podcasts end-to-endStrong audio editing skills with clean, professional outputVideo editing experience for podcast and social clipsExperience submitting and managing podcasts on Apple PodcastsFamiliarity with Riverside.fm or similar toolsPortfolio of published podcast work (required)Strong written communication skillsAbility to manage timelines independently and meet deadlinesStable internet and backup requiredMust be available for U.S. work hoursThis is a high-ownership role with minimal supervision in a fast-moving launch environment. You will be a core driver of the podcast's success from day one.
