Part-Time Remote Truck Dispatcher (Cargo Van & Semi Truck) Pay $250 - $350 per week Job Type: Part-Time Remote Monday-Friday Schedule: 4-6 hours per day Typical operating hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST (Flexible within business hours as long as loads are covered)
About Us
BPCC Trucking is a growing dispatch company focused on helping owner-operators and small carriers stay loaded and profitable. We're currently managing a cargo van and a semi truck and are looking for a reliable dispatcher who can help us source freight, communicate with brokers, and support our drivers. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the transportation industry while working from home. Duties
- Search and book loads using DAT, Truckstop, and broker load boards
- Negotiate rates with brokers
- Follow up on load opportunities throughout the day
- Build relationships with brokers and shippers
- Communicate load details to drivers
- Track active loads and provide updates when needed
- Maintain records of booked loads and broker contacts
- Assist with basic dispatch-related administrative tasks
Requirements
- Reliable internet connection
- Laptop or desktop computer
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with brokers by phone
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Professional phone etiquette
- Preferred (Not Required) Previous dispatching experience
- Familiarity with DAT Load Board
- Familiarity with Truckstop
- Experience working with cargo vans, box trucks, or semi trucks
- Sales or customer service experience
Candidates located in NJ, NY, PA preferred but not required.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is proactive, motivated, and willing to learn. You don't need years of dispatching experience, but you should be comfortable making calls, following up consistently, and helping drivers stay loaded. This position has growth potential. As BPCC's fleet grows, opportunities for increased hours, compensation, and advancement may become available. Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits:
