Part-Time Remote Attorney — Litigation & Bankruptcy
About the Firm Arizona Consumer Law Group, PLC is a growing consumer law firm based in Chandler, Arizona. We help individuals and families obtain a fresh financial start through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, and we defend consumers who have been sued by their creditors in debt collection litigation. We are a modern, technology-forward practice that invests in efficient systems so our attorneys can focus on substantive legal work rather than administrative busywork. The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled attorney to support a busy and expanding bankruptcy and litigation caseload. This is a flexible, part-time, position. The work is primarily remote, with in-person court appearances in the Phoenix metropolitan area as needed. You will work directly with the firm's principal attorney and an experienced support team. This is genuine legal work, not document review.
Responsibilities
- Appear at 341 Meetings of Creditors (Zoom)
- Appear at hearings in Arizona Justice Court and Superior Court
- Draft motions, answers, discovery, and disclosures
- Support the firm's consumer bankruptcy and civil debt defense matters
Qualifications
- Active member of the State Bar of Arizona in good standing (required)
- Litigation and bankruptcy experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable appearing in court and handling matters with limited day-to-day supervision
- Strong legal writing and meticulous attention to detail
- Reliable, responsive, and able to work independently in a remote environment
What We Offer
- $58 to $65 per hour, depending on experience
