Oral Surgery Billing Specialist
Job Description:
- Own the claims process for assigned Oral Surgery offices
- Submit and manage insurance claims to ensure maximum reimbursement
- Resolve claim denials by drafting and submitting appeals with supporting documentation
- Post payments, pull electronic funds transfers (EFTs), and generate financial reports for assigned offices
- Attend weekly client meetings to provide updates and address billing concerns
- Ensure proper claim documentation by attaching narratives, images, and chart notes
Requirements:
- At least one year of oral surgery billing experience required, two years preferred
- Comfortable using dental practice management software (WINOMS, OMS Vision, Dentrix, Open Dental, etc.) and Google Suite
- A positive, solutions-oriented approach to challenges
- Strong accuracy, compliance, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while meeting goals
- Must work well with others in a team environment
- Flexibility and strong time management skills
- High school or equivalent (Required)
