Online Adjunct - College Of Business & Technology Aspen Group, Inc is an education technology holding company that leverages its infrastructure and expertise to allow its two universities, Aspen University and United States University, to deliver on the vision of making college accessible and affordable. United States University is looking for experienced Online Adjunct Faculty to join the College of Business & Technology. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Asynchronous teaching in a virtual environment with a diverse student population
- Engage students in meaningful asynchronous threaded discussions at least four days per week, evaluating responses and responding to questions or comments
- Evaluate students' course content comprehension through grading of assignments, quizzes, papers, or presentations
- Bring your real-life experiences into the classroom through announcements, feedback, discussion responses, and grading
- Empower students to learn and grow through evidence-based feedback and guidance
- Set clear expectations and guidelines for each course in accordance with university policies
- Utilize effective professional communication in providing clear directions, feedback, and promoting student learning
- Attend virtual faculty meetings when you are able or watch recordings to stay current on policies
- Be available to students by answering emails within 24 hours
Education
- Master's or Doctorate degree from accredited institution depending on program requirements
Adjunct Compensation
- Course contracts are paid semi-monthly and range from $150 - $3,500 depending on instruction level and student count
