Oil & Gas Mechanical Integrity Advisor (US)
About us: We're building software for the people who keep heavy industry running - the inspectors and integrity engineers whose hard-won judgment keeps pipelines and pressure vessels safe. The world is losing those hands faster than it can replace them. Tech's answer has been to automate the human away. We think that's backwards. Exo is built to serve the worker on the ground. The company is built around an Industry 5.0 philosophy, where technology enhances and supports workers rather than replacing them. EXO's software captures field expertise, documents human judgment, and preserves the practical knowledge of an over-burdened workforce. By building a digital "exoskeleton" around people in the field, EXO helps close the skilled labor gap while improving safety, reliability, and performance in heavy industry. To build this right, we need someone who's been in the seat. Who we're looking for: A retired or semi-retired Mechanical Integrity / Fixed Equipment leader from a refinery or owner-operator. Someone who has sat in turnaround war rooms, signed off on remaining-life calls, and knows exactly where the current inspection and maintenance workflow breaks down. What you'd do:
- Pressure-test our product against the reality of in-service inspection and maintenance - tell us where we're naive
- Open doors to the integrity and inspection leaders you know across refiners and contractors
- Provide technical feedback to product and engineering teams to help improve the tools used by integrity engineers
What this is: A formal advisory role with meaningful equity in EXO plus a revenue share tied to the deals and relationships you help bring in - your network and judgment compound directly into your upside. Light, flexible time commitment and a direct line to the founders. We want your judgment and your network, not your calendar. If this is you, or you know the person it should be, apply or DM me.
