Your precision and dedication will be crucial to our operations, ensuring that patient care is never delayed due to administrative hurdles. Your daily tasks will include: Verifying Patient Eligibility & Benefits: Contacting insurance carriers via phone, online portals, and other communication methods to verify patient eligibility, coverage details, co-pays, deductibles, out-of-pocket expenses, and specific benefit limitations for various medical services and prescriptions. Communicating with Internal & External Partners: Collaborating with Amazon's clinical staff, pharmacists, and other team members to ensure all relevant patient information is accurate and up to date. You will also communicate with insurance company representatives to resolve discrepancies or get clarification on complex policies. Maintaining Data Integrity & Confidentiality: Adhering strictly to all HIPAA regulations and company privacy policies to protect sensitive patient information. Problem-Solving: Proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies in insurance information, working to prevent billing errors and potential delays in patient care.
