About the Role
This is a full-time, salaried Fractional CFO position—not a 1099 consulting opportunity. As part of the HTM team, you'll provide fractional CFO services to a dedicated portfolio of up to 30 small law firms. We handle all sales, marketing, and client acquisition, allowing you to focus entirely on financial leadership, strategic guidance, and building trusted client relationships. If you've worked in a fractional, outsourced CFO, or multi-client advisory environment, you'll feel right at home. This role requires the ability to quickly shift between multiple businesses while delivering the same level of strategic insight and financial leadership each client expects from a trusted CFO. No legal industry experience is required—we'll teach you everything you need to know about serving law firms. You'll become the trusted financial advisor for a portfolio of small businesses, helping owners understand their numbers, improve profitability, and make confident business decisions.
Responsibilities
Serve as Fractional CFO for a portfolio of up to 30 clients Analyze financial statements, KPIs, cash flow, profitability, and business performance Identify financial trends, operational risks, and growth opportunities Deliver monthly financial reviews and strategic recommendations Help business owners understand financial data and turn insights into action Partner with bookkeepers to improve financial accuracy and reporting Develop budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections Hold clients accountable to financial goals and performance metrics Build trusted long-term client relationships Collaborate with internal team members to deliver an exceptional client experience
Required Qualifications
