Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Notary Signing Agent to join our team. In this vital role, you will facilitate the smooth execution of loan signings by verifying identities, ensuring all documents are accurately signed and notarized, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Your expertise will help streamline the closing process for real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with legal standards and safeguarding client interests. Responsibilities

  • Conduct loan signings at client locations or remotely, ensuring all documents are signed correctly and in accordance with legal requirements
  • Verify the identity of signers through proper identification methods and maintain accurate records of each notarization
  • Explain signing procedures clearly to clients, answering questions professionally while maintaining neutrality and confidentiality
  • Review documents for completeness and accuracy prior to notarization, identifying any discrepancies or missing information
  • Maintain detailed logs of each signing appointment, including date, time, location, and signer details
  • Stay updated on state laws and regulations related to notary practices and loan signing procedures
  • Collaborate with title companies, lenders, and escrow officers to ensure seamless communication throughout the signing process

Qualifications

  • Valid notary commission in good standing with comprehensive knowledge of state-specific laws and regulations
  • Prior experience as a notary signing agent or in a legal administrative role such as paralegal or legal assistant is highly preferred
  • Strong analysis skills to review documents meticulously for accuracy and completeness
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Proficiency in legal research, legal drafting, filing procedures, and document organization
  • Demonstrated writing skills for accurate record keeping and report generation
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple appointments efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience with legal administrative tasks such as filing, document review, and record management is a plus
