Next.js Developer
Job Summary: We are looking for a talented Next.js developer to enhance our project team at Nine Design. This role involves comprehensive backend-to-frontend development to create high-performance, scalable web applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new user-facing features using Next.js.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Implement SEO principles and ensure application adherence to these principles.
- Work with backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and push the team towards modern development practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Thorough understanding of Next.js and its core principles.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Experience with modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN).
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Working experience with state mangement tools
- Experience with React.js
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
