NetSuite Technical Consultant (Developer)

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

About SuiteCentric SuiteCentric is a certified Oracle NetSuite Solution Provider and boutique consulting firm. We specialize in NetSuite implementations, customizations, and managed services for a wide range of clients across industries. Our team is small by design — everyone contributes, everyone matters, and everyone wins together. We believe in real collaboration. You won't be siloed or left to figure things out alone. From day one, you'll be surrounded by experienced colleagues who are invested in your success and in delivering great outcomes for our clients. The Role We're looking for a Technical Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work directly on NetSuite development projects — building SuiteScript customizations, supporting SuiteCommerce implementations, and contributing to client solutions across a diverse portfolio of accounts and verticals. This is a hands-on development role. You'll report to the CTO and collaborate closely with the broader project team — including functional consultants and project managers — to deliver quality work for our clients. We don't expect you to arrive knowing everything. If you're strong in SuiteScript but haven't touched SuiteCommerce — or vice versa — that's okay. What matters is that you're curious, dependable, and willing to grow.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain SuiteScript 2.x customizations (User Events, Scheduled Scripts, Suitelets, Map/Reduce, RESTlets)
  • Contribute to SuiteCommerce and SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) implementations and customizations
  • Write and optimize SuiteQL queries and work with NetSuite reporting tools
  • Develop and maintain Advanced PDF templates and workflow automations
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Participate in client calls and meetings during general business hours
  • Contribute to internal tooling, scripts, and process improvements

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 2+ years of overall software development experience
  • 1+ year of hands-on NetSuite development experience (SuiteScript, SuiteQL, workflows, etc.)
  • Comfort working independently in a remote environment while staying connected with the team
  • Strong communication skills — you'll interface with clients and teammates regularly
  • A genuine willingness to learn new areas of NetSuite and take on new challenges

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SuiteCommerce or SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA)
  • Familiarity with Advanced PDF / FreeMarker templating
  • Experience with SuiteAnalytics Connect or SuiteQL reporting
  • NetSuite certification(s)
  • Experience in a consulting or client-facing development role
  • An AI-forward mindset — we embrace AI tools to work smarter, move faster, and deliver better results for clients. Comfort with or curiosity about integrating AI into development workflows is a real plus.

Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $100,000 – $120,000 depending on experience Performance Bonus Quarterly bonus tied to billable revenue — rewarding the work you put in, not just an end-of-year discretionary payout.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • 14 days PTO to start
  • 11 paid company holidays
  • Company-provided laptop and equipment, with additional gear reimbursable with approval
  • NetSuite certification costs covered with approval

How We Work We're fully remote. Our team spans time zones and we trust each other to get the work done. That said, our clients are real businesses with real schedules — we ask that you keep most of your hours within standard business times so you're available when clients need you. Beyond that, we're flexible. Need to work late tonight and start slow tomorrow? No problem — life happens, and we get it. We're a small team, which means your work has visible impact. You'll get direct exposure to a wide variety of clients, industries, and NetSuite use cases — not the same thing over and over. We invest in our people and actively support growth into new areas of the platform.
