Music Therapist for Online Music Therapy - Fully Remote - $35 / Hour

Lentil Music Therapy (Lentil) is building a simpler, more supportive way for families to access music therapy online. We are looking for board certified music therapists (MT-BC) to join our early provider network as independent contractors. This is a remote, online-only role designed for therapists who want to focus on sessions while Lentil handles much of the administrative work around scheduling, billing, and client coordination. This is a new service, which means that we are both serious about building something meaningful and useful for families and we are still refining parts of the experience and genuinely welcome provider feedback along the way If you like the idea of helping shape a new service from the ground floor, while keeping your direct work centered on client care, we’d love to hear from you. What Lentil handles Lentil is designed to reduce the admin burden on therapists. We currently handle:

• client discovery and initial matching
• booking and recurring scheduling
• billing and payment collection

What you handle As a Lentil contractor, your role is intentionally simple:

• provide online music therapy sessions
• keep your profile and availability current
• confirm intro requests promptly
• mark session outcomes on time

Clinical materials, assessments, treatment recommendations, and documentation remain outside Lentil. Why this role may be a good fit This may be a great fit if you are looking for:

• an online-only format (we may expand to in-person in the future, but online-only will always remain an option for providers)
• less time spent on scheduling and billing logistics

Requirements

• Current MT-BC credential required
• Ability to provide online sessions reliably
• Comfortable working with families and clients in a remote format
• Able to maintain accurate availability
• Able to mark session outcomes consistently and on time
• PayPal account email for payouts

Compensation

Lentil pays providers per session, including in instances where clients fail to show up for the session and/or do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Current provider pay rate is $35/hour, prorated to the number of minutes in each scheduled session. Payments are sent the Monday after each session, via PayPal. To apply Please apply here on Indeed.
