Music Data Rater (Native English Speaker - U.S. Based)
About the Role: We’re looking for U.S.-based, native English-speaking Music Data Raters with a keen ear for music. In this role, you’ll listen to AI-generated and human-created audio clips and provide structured evaluations that help train and fine-tune next-generation music AI systems. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate music tracks suggested based on the prompt given by you.
- Tag musical elements including genre, tempo, key, mood, instruments, and structure.
- Provide natural-sounding English feedback when required (e.g., prompt rewriting, lyrical evaluation).
- Ensure consistency and quality in annotation using internal tools and instructions.
- Collaborate with team leads or researchers to calibrate rating accuracy.
Requirements:
- Native-level English fluency (U.S.-based applicants only).
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with music annotation, reviewing, or production tools is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
- Reliable computer and internet connection.
