Mortgage Loan Officer (Remote)

SRM is looking for a Remote Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. We are seeking experienced loan officers who are ready to elevate their sales career to uncapped new heights. As a Remote Mortgage Loan Officer, you will work on pre-screened leads developed by the... company, where there is no lead generation required. Your job is to provide consultation to help borrowers meet their retirement goals and present reverse mortgage opportunities over the phone. You will educate the customer on the product and the process, as well as following up with the customer throughout the process. Calls to the company's main line will not be transferred or returned.* Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following): Manage leads by phone, email, text, and CRM Interview applicants to analyze financial and credit data, determine objectives, and advise customer on product, pricing, and process. Collect and analyze client's financial information and evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits. Gather all required information and follow loan from application to funding, ensuring continued communication with the customer throughout the process. Determine estimated value of customer's home using all resources available (Zillow, Redfin, etc.) Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines. Keep informed of trends and developments in the reverse mortgage industry, as well as changing rules and regulations pertaining to reverse mortgage products. Qualifications (Knowledge & Experience): Must live outside of the DC, MD, VA area to be eligible for remote work opportunities with SRM. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. Active NMLS License required. Minimum 3 years of experience successfully originating reverse mortgage loans required. In-depth knowledge of reverse mortgage guidelines and ability to communicate these in a non-technical and conversational manner to others. Ability to manage multiple priorities, strong attention to detail, and highly organized. Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness. Demonstrated patience and professionalism when interacting with customers. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a goal-oriented environment. Motivated and driven by sales and uncapped commission.
