Position Type: Full Time or Part Time, Hourly/Non-exempt Department: Mortgage Department Reports to: Mortgage Branch Manager Position Summary The Mortgage Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a vital role in driving Texana Bank’s growth by recruiting Real Estate Agents, Loan Originators, and New Customers. This position is a non-originating role that does not require NMLS registration and does not involve any licensed mortgage activities. Key Responsibilities: Identify and engage prospective Real Estate Agents, Loan Originators, and potential customers f Develop and implement strategies for agent recruitment in alignment with Texana Bank’s objectives. Conduct outreach, networking, and field recruiting efforts to grow the Branch network. Maintain compliance with all regulations, ensuring no involvement in loan origination or point-of-sale systems. Compensation: Base wages required. · Eligible for recruiting overrides based on actual recruitment efforts. Compensation structure may include basis points (bps) on designated/recruited production.
