Position Purpose and Objectives We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Sales Consultant to build and maintain strong relationships with licensed healthcare practitioners. This role focuses on selling nutritional formulas by engaging with and growing existing accounts, following up with leads, and onboarding new doctors . The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, has a strong consultative sales approach, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and confident navigating the clinical sales process. Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing healthcare practitioner accounts to increase sales and brand loyalty.
  • Identify and follow up with warm leads, nurturing them through the sales process.
  • Onboard new healthcare practitioners, educating them on our product line and benefits.
  • Conduct product presentations and training sessions, both virtually and in person.
  • Understand each practitioner’s practice model and tailor recommendations to their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Inside Sales Representative (ISR), Marketing and Customer Service, to enhance the customer experience.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging research in nutraceuticals.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Detailing health care providers about nutritional formulas for them to recommend to their patients.
  • Selling multiple brands warehoused at the home office to help health care providers with a comprehensive opportunity to fulfill their needs.
  • Attend national and local events in the area to help support sales.
  • Successfully develop and complete a full route system to ensure continual contact with accounts and leads to maximize territory revenue and order volume growth.
  • Successfully cold call on possible new accounts every month.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Experience in consultative sales, preferably in the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, medical, or wellness industry.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare practitioners’ needs, including functional medicine, integrative health, and nutritional therapies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline and follow up effectively.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in health sciences, nutrition, business, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience with CRM software and virtual sales tools is a plus.
  • Must complete all tasks without supervision daily.
  • Must have knowledge of the professional health care supplement market.
  • Must have successful sales experience.
  • Should have good interpersonal skills.
  • Learn all aspects of internal applications to analyze accounts, cross-sell products, and grow territory.
