What You’ll Do As a Manufacturing Optimization Engineer II, you will lead factory transformation initiatives by applying systems thinking, Lean principles, and automation technologies to redesign and optimize production environments. You will play a key role in driving scalable, high-impact improvements across multiple facilities. Key Responsibilities: Analyze manufacturing operations from a systems perspective to drive transformation initiatives Design and optimize end-to-end value streams to improve throughput and efficiency Lead automation projects including design, integration, and implementation of robotics and PLC systems Evaluate facility layouts, equipment utilization, and automation strategies Translate simulation and modeling insights into actionable transformation roadmaps Drive Lean initiatives, including Kaizen events and continuous improvement programs Partner with cross-functional leaders to align process improvements with business goals Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and performance improvements Present findings and recommendations to leadership What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (Master’s preferred) 5+ years of experience in process engineering, factory design, or manufacturing transformation Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Value Stream Mapping Experience leading process improvement or automation initiatives Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to influence and collaborate across functions What Will Set You Apart Experience with automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 initiatives Exposure to ERP/MES integration Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification Practical experience with manufacturing quality management systems Practical experience with preventative maintenance programs Practical experience with Supply chain management processes Experience with digital factory modeling or simulation tools What You’ll Gain Opportunity to lead high-impact transformation initiatives Exposure to advanced manufacturing and automation strategies Visibility with senior leadership across multiple operating companies Career advancement within a global organization Pay Range: 66,666.66 - 100,000.00 We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and more!
