Manager, Marketing Automation (Remote Eligible)

We are looking for someone to join the management team in Marketing Automation within our Revenue Operations team. Bring your project management and process improvement skills to make an immediate positive impact. Your mission is to build, measure, and improve the effectiveness of our marketing automation using Marketo. Our Marketing Automation team is expanding and you will be the contact for important projects in addition to managing a team of marketing automation specialists. You will report to our Director, Marketing Automation and can be based in Smartsheet's corporate offices in Bellevue, WA, Boston, MA or US remote. You Will:

• Create and lead marketing automation strategy and team process
• Manage a team of Marketing Automation specialists who develop complex automated marketing campaigns with performance focus
• Be a subject matter expert in Marketo and connecting systems
• Take on major strategic projects involving multiple systems and cross-team partnerships
• Evaluate new tools and integrations for scalability and efficiency
• Develop complex automated marketing campaigns with performance focus
• Lead nurturing – iterate to find the best timing and message to move leads down the funnel
• Champion A/B testing methodology in partnership with main team members to optimize emails and landing pages
• Improve segmentation framework to optimize customer touches around type of lead
• Analyze what's working and what's not - communicate with leadership on these results
• Increase customer acquisition and retention numbers to goal

You Have:

• 5+ years experience with email marketing and marketing automation in Marketo
• Experience using a CRM and database platforms, Salesforce preferred
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS development, APIs, and JavaScript
• Excellent metrics/analysis orientation - guide us with data
• Comfort presenting results and information to all audiences, building relationships with colleagues, and cascading leadership strategy to direct reports and other team members
• Ability to maintain momentum while addressing new developments
