Management Consultant, Supply Chain & Logistics

Our client, a respected management consultancy, is seeking a Management Consultant with expertise in Supply Chain and Logistics. This role, based near Des Moines, Iowa , will adopt a hybrid work model, offering a blend of remote and in-office work. You will focus on helping clients optimize their supply chain operations, improve logistics efficiency, and reduce costs across the entire value chain. This includes areas such as procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and demand planning. Responsibilities will involve analyzing existing supply chain processes, identifying areas for improvement, and designing robust, scalable solutions. You will work with clients to implement best practices, leverage technology for enhanced visibility and control, and manage supply chain risks. Key activities include developing supply chain strategies, optimizing network design, and improving forecasting and inventory management. A strong understanding of supply chain software and technologies (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP) is beneficial. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are crucial. The ability to build strong client relationships and communicate complex ideas effectively is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or a related field is required; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS) are a plus.
