Longform - YouTube Editor
Job Summary - Must be USA based Content creator Ali Spagnola is in search of an experienced video editor with great energy and positive outlook to join a team of creatives seeking to do good in the world through fun and engaging content. She needs someone with a high level of creativity that can flex their own personal style and work together with her to create something new and great! Ali has 2 different YouTube channels:
- Art Longform: 12-20+ minute content, covering multi-day art projects done by Ali. The editing style is upbeat and fun, while also allowing the audience to really feel like they’re along for the wild ride. Please look up the channel @alispagnola - 2/month (Starts at $1500/edit with room to grow).
- Fitness Longform: 12-20+ minute content, highlighting or testing various fitness/health related regiments, diets, products, etc. This channel is a little more graphics heavy to keep viewer attention. Nothing crazy though! Please look up the channel @fitnessoutrageous - 2/month (Starts at $900/edit with room to grow).
- Edits usually have a 2ish week turn around.
IMPORTANT INFO
- Syncing multicam audio and video will occasionally be a responsibility of the editor. We do our best to have our AEs sync but there will be times when you will have to do it.
- Large project sizes - you need to be able to handle downloading a lot of footage.
- Ali generally has a specific vision on the timing and style of her videos (how the narrative unfolds, how efficiently the story is being told and again, timing).
- She will always provide VERY detailed notes about the edits if/when more editing rounds are needed. Must be ok with 100s of notes/feedback until you get the hang of it.
- She needs someone who can pay attention to detail and execute what is asked within notes.
- She needs someone with a high level of creativity that can flex their own personal style and work together with her to create something new and great!
- She will provide a script for every video, and the edits must follow it precisely.
Requirements
- Extensive Premiere Pro Experience
- Experience with motion graphics, animations, text, etc.
- Able to work through multiple rounds of edits/changes quickly
- Audio Syncing and Mixing
- Understands Media Asset Management
- Ability to adapt to multiple editing styles
- Innovative - combines creativity with strong video and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively and quickly for edits
- Notion, Dropbox, and Frame experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail
- You must have fast internet capable of downloading 100’s of GBs of footage.
- Must have a flexible schedule
